The recent market research on the new products of the Start Up line:
1. Yeast-free crackers with spelt and sunflower seeds
2. Yeast-free crackers with rye, oat and buckwheat,
has delivered its results.
THE RESEARCH: The panel test involved 3,500 consumers in line with the target buyers (80% women, 60% aged 26 to 45, 68% in a couple or family), with the aim of finding out whether a potentially niche product, being yeast-free, could have a broad and diverse audience. THE RESULTS: 87% of respondents said they would buy the product even without a yeast intolerance, for its taste and “wellbeing” qualities. This appreciation is also shown by the fact that 87% gave the products a high overall rating (scores from 4 to 6, on a scale of 1 to 6). High scores were also given to the individual features of Start Up:
· 92% approval for crumbliness (thanks to a dedicated production technology that does without yeast);
· 89% for the format (150 g, for a snack to enjoy alone or to share);
· 87% for the shape (also suitable for spreading with cheese, mayonnaise or jams);
· 86% for taste (natural and light). When are Start Up enjoyed most? 70% of respondents named the snack moment, at home or out, as their favourite occasion, but 43% would also have these crackers with meals.
